"When I was wondering what we were going to do and how we were going to make it work for my 90 year old father in law, Joe Reed, to come home from rehabilitation to his own home and be comfortable in his environment. Someone mentioned to me to try Darla Cunningham. I really have never heard of her so I called her and had the conservation and told her all what we needed. She was getting ready to go on vacation around the time we were to bring him home so she said let me see if I can make it work for you and me. Well, long story short, she came, and we had the family meet with her and decided she and her girls were the perfect fit for him and us. Darla actually stayed with him the very first day we brought him home. She then gradually brought in her other ladies that would be staying with him also. If you know my father in law it had to be the right ones or he would have flipped his lid and theirs too. He needed twenty hour care so Darla made a schedule and we were very fortunate everyone that came from her group was a perfect fit. We couldn’t have made it without Darla and the ladies. They treated him like family. Kept him dried, fed, cleaned and washed his clothes. His house was spotless when each shift left the next morning. I was there every day just for reassurance for him but Darla and the ladies were the best. They loved on him and spoiled him rotten til he took his last breath. We as the Reed family will always be grateful for Darla Cunningham. She was a God send to us and an angel her on earth. Joe loved everyone of the ladies who stayed with him and had a unique relationship with each one of them. If you know Joe he was isn’t the easiest man to please or get a long with but he hit the ball rolling with Darla and her ladies. If you ever need someone who truly loves their job and patients you need a Darla Cunningham in your life. She still to this day checks on us and will always hold a special place in our hearts. We love her and the ladies like family and will forever be grateful we crossed paths. "
